Teacher-student sex grooming scandal in 2006, while being a trainee PE teacher he got involved in an affair with another engaged to be married teacher and the engagement broke as a result. The same teacher was also involved in an adulterous affair with a married woman resulting in a divorce in 2008. The ex-teacher did not marry the divorced woman eventually. The ex-teacher is a well known player. He used to drive a BMW and Subaru cars and lived in a landed property near to Pasir Ris estate.
